This was a great event. Registered for the world record course. Shot it first. Then we shot the western course second. The world record course was cool to shoot at a target that had similar measurements to the world record. I know the targets were set up at the distance for what the record shot was taken but there really was no challenge. a majority of them were open clear shots. We chose to step back further on a majority of them. The western course was by far my favorite. Very tight windows, varying angles, and different distances. My ONLY dislike about this event was the distance from the end of the course back to the "vendor village". On each course, once we finished the last target, we noticed how long of a walk it was back after shooting a challenging course that was already a good distance overall. Definitely made you dread the walk back no matter your fatigue level up to that point. It seems like they would have a shuttle to come pick you up. Or a number you text and they come to the end of the course. Or just maybe making a parking lot between the entrance and the exit of each course that you can park there before you start the course. So that you don't have to walk so far. I know it is difficult to design all these nice courses and keep safety and difficulty as the most important priorities. But it would be ideal to have all the courses end a lot closer to the main event area or at least the parking lot.
