Mountain Archery Fest - Elk Bros Team Elk Calling Contest - Purgatory

The MAF Team Elk Calling competition is totally unique in that the success or failure within the competition does not rely on the strengths or weaknesses of any one individual. As it would be in the woods with a partner, this is a team event that showcases the strengths of two calling partners, no matter the age or gender. The goal is for no one person to be responsible for the requirements of a session. Teams and the partners within that team can go with their strengths. The regulations contained below set forth the rules and procedures governing the MAF Team Elk Calling Contests. The regulations are also an attempt to create teams and partner techniques that not only make for a fun competition, but that also transfer directly to success in the field.
